Know your wrist size and you know how many links to take out before the watch even arrives. Print our tape, measure in 60 seconds, and adjust the bracelet at home in five minutes with the free pin tool.
Print the tape
Download the wrist tape (PDF, A4)
Print at 100% / Actual size, not "Fit to page". A bank card should fit the box on the sheet exactly — that is how you know the millimetres are right.
How to measure
- Cut out the tapeAlong the dotted line. Keep the arrow end.
- Wrap it round your wristWhere the watch will sit, just above the wrist bone. Snug, not tight — you should be able to slide the tape a touch.
- Read the numberWhere the arrow end meets the scale is your wrist size in millimetres. Most adults are 140–200 mm.
Snug, regular or loose?
| Fit | How it feels | Add to your wrist size |
|---|---|---|
| Snug | No gap, bracelet sits still | About 5 mm |
| Regular | Slides a little when you move your arm — most people | About 10 mm |
| Loose | Moves freely, sits lower on the wrist | About 15 mm |
How many links to take out
Bracelet length as it arrives, minus your wrist size, minus the comfort allowance above, divided by the link length — rounded to the nearest whole link. Take links out from both sides of the clasp so it stays centred. The link length is on every watch and link page under Specifications.
Example: a bracelet of 210 mm, a 165 mm wrist, regular fit (+10) and 9 mm links: (210 − 165 − 10) ÷ 9 = 3.9, so take out four links, two each side.
No printer?
Wrap a strip of paper, a phone charging cable or a piece of string round your wrist, mark where it meets, lay it flat and measure it against any ruler. That number in millimetres is your wrist size.
Not sure? Send a photo of the wrist next to a ruler or a £1 coin to WhatsApp 07999 993490 and we will tell you how many links to remove.
